Ms McDonald

Ms McDonald is the best. She does every thing with all her effort. Her flowing blonde hair thats just over her shoulders She has a very nice smile that shows her glowing teeth. Her eyes are as blue as the sky. She wears sunglasses on her head and puts them on when she's outside.She is the best teacher ever and i will be sad seeing her go.

My favourite event this year at Victoria Aveune School.

As 2012 is coming to a close the year 6 students are leaving and going to have a new adventure at a different school. 

In year 6 my favourite event was the production in term 3 it was amazing! I got to be a Beatle so did Kristina, Sophie and Lauren P, I was the amazing Ringo Starr or Richard Starkey, Kristina was the handsome George Harrison, Sophie was the awesome Paul McCartney, Lauren P was the lovely John Lennon. Our class was the 60's.

I am very sad leaving Viccy Ave.

Athletics Day!

On the 29th October Victoria Aveune School had.....ATHLETICS DAY!!!

The year 3-6s went to Millinuim Staduim in Rosedale to have athletics day.
There were lots of sports to do like sprints,house relays,long jump,high jump,javlen and ball throw.I did the sprints it was awesome. I lined up to the line and then the gun went BANG then i ran and ran I came 5th which I'm pretty happy with.Although it started raining in the middle of athletics day.BEST DAY EVER!!!

Cat Travels 12km Under Car

A kitten has been named Axle after completing a daring 12km journey across South Auckland concealed behind a car's front wheel.

Tina Dawber had been at a family gathering in Ridgemount Rise, Mangere Bridge, with her three children, Seneti is nine, Haleni is six, and Ocean is four, last week when the kitten climbed under her car



The children had been playing with the neigbourhood cat and kittens before lunch and when the family left her brother Titie Lauta's address around 5.30pm they were unaware they had an extra passenger on board.

Driving along Roscommon Rd minutes into the 12.7km journey home including a stint along the southwestern motorway.Dawber thought she heard something "I was thinking I'm hearing voices so I didn't mention anything."


Her paranoia got worse as she passed a nearby cemetery where her late father was buried. "Could it be my dad?" she wondered.


When she heard a meow moments later she slowed the vehicle and asked her children look in and around their seats and reassure her they weren't playing a joke on her.
They weren't, but there was no sign of a feline.

When the Dawbers got home they searched the vehicle but didn't hear so much as a peep out of the kitten. On  searches they heard a meow, but still there was no sign of the clever cat.
 
When Dawber's husband, Alex, arrived home from work he too took a look, initially finding nothing. His daughter Seneti was adamant there was a cat underneath the car so he kept searching and around 10.30pm he found it.

Cyber-bullying takes its toll on teenager

On the 10th of October,Canadian girl:Amanda Todd has died in her home in Columbia,England,just weeks before her 16th birthday.A man said she was attractive and he wanted her to flash when she was online so she did and sent the man a topless photo of her when she was 12.The screen shot of her posing topless has cause leading to fights at school, a struggle with drugs and alcoholand online bullying.She changed citys and schools, but the trouble still followed her,Amanda's mum said "the intenet stalker she flashed kept stalking her."Everytime she moved schools the stalker would go undercover and become a facebook friend.The stalker went online to the kids that went to the new school Amanda was at now tell the kids ,he would be starting school next week and say he needed friends.He eventually gathered people's names and sent Amanda's [topless} video to her new school.Then she wouldn't go to class when she was at school.'When she got home, she wrote she drank bleach it killed me inside and I thought I actually was going to die.'said Amanda.She was taken to hospital to flush out the bleach,she was taken to hospital again after an overdose.Mrs Todd said Amanda had spent time in hospital in September, and was slowly starting to get better. She went out with friends, she went to the mall, she said to me, 'Mum, this is the first time that I feel normal again. I have had the best day ever.'Then all of a sudden few days later she died.
